Botox & Restylane
What are Botox® Cosmetic?
Botox® Cosmetic  are non-surgical, non-invasive cosmetic treatments which can be combined to revitalize the face.
How does the treatment work?

Botox® temporarily reduces the contractions of the muscles that cause wrinkles. By relaxing the muscles, the overlying skin becomes smoother.

How many treatments are required?

Multiple treatments may be necessary to optimize results. Two to four weeks after the first treatment is administered, a touch-up treatment may be needed to achieve the desired results. As the treatments wear off, they may be repeated to continue the effect.
Are there any possible side effects?
Possible side effects include swelling, redness and, in some cases, bruising. Generally these side effects are non-threatening and disappear within a couple of days. Rare side effects include headache, flu-like symptoms and temporarily eyelid drooping.
Will there be any downtime?
You may resume normal activities immediately. Vigorous exercise or laying flat may be restricted for a few hours following treatment. Many clients undergo Botox® Cosmetic  during their lunch break and return to work after treatment.
How soon will results appear?
Your results will be visible after any swelling diminishes.
How long does a Botox® Cosmetic and Restylane® session last?
Sessions are generally short, and their duration depends on the number of injections required.
How long do the results last?
Botox® lasts around three to four month.
What are the alternative treatments?
There is an assortment of other treatments including other injectables, such as collagen, and chemical peels.
Instructions for before treatment:
Before treatment, be sure to tell your doctor about any allergies you have. Discuss any serious medical conditions and medications you are currently taking. Carefully follow any instructions given to you. Avoid alcoholic beverages and anti-inflammatory medications before treatment. Schedule your appointment at least two weeks prior to any special events to allow time to heal.
Instructions for after treatment:
Treat any mild discomfort with Tylenol, and expect temporary swelling. If desired, an icepack can be applied after treatment. Do not massage the treated areas, because it may move the Botox around and create a different effect. It is generally recommended to remain upright for four hours after injections and to avoid aerobic activity for a few hours.
